Recognized for her roles as Tina Shepard in “Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood” and Linda Fairgate in “Knots Landing,” Lincoln passed away following a prolonged battle with breast cancer.

Born in Dallas, Texas, in 1961, Lincoln’s career in Hollywood spanned 45 years. She initially gained attention with roles in TV series such as “Heart of the City,” “Outlaws,” and “Highway to Heaven” before achieving a breakthrough in 1987 with her role in the CBS soap opera “Knots Landing,” alongside Michele Lee and William Devane.
Lincoln garnered a particular following among horror film fans for her portrayal of Tina Shepard in the 1988 film “Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood.” Her character, known as the “ultimate final girl,” used her telekinetic abilities to combat the series’ villain, Jason Voorhees, played by Kane Hodder.
In the later years of her career, Lincoln returned to her horror roots by appearing as herself in the 2021 horror film “13 Fanboy,” acknowledging her significant role in the genre.
Apart from acting, Lincoln was a devoted mentor who founded Actors Audition Studios in Dallas, Texas. She wrote “Get Started, Not Scammed” to guide aspiring actors through the entertainment industry, focusing on avoiding common challenges. Her dedication to nurturing talent was well-regarded.
Lincoln’s varied television career included guest roles on shows such as “Murder, She Wrote” and “Beverly Hills, 90210,” working with notable figures like Angela Lansbury, Michael Landon, and Christina Applegate. For her role in the film “Children of the Night,” she was awarded the Bronze Halo Award for her contributions to entertainment.
Her health issues began in 2008 with a breast cancer diagnosis. Lincoln underwent 17 surgeries over five years, showing a resilience that inspired many fans and colleagues.
In 1995, Lincoln faced personal loss when her husband, Michael Lincoln, died of cancer at the age of 43. The couple had been married since 1981.
Following her death, fans expressed their condolences and admiration for her work on social media.
Lincoln is survived by her daughter Piper, son Trevor, siblings, including her sister Karen and brother, four grandchildren, and her poodle, Charlie.
