Syrian actress Angy Morad, who was also a former Miss Asia World, has passed away at 33. Her death occurred due to complications from a viral infection she suffered during her second pregnancy.
In late January, Morad was admitted to the ICU as her health condition worsened. Reports suggest she was battling pneumonia prior to her hospitalization. She died on February 9 after several weeks of treatment.

Morad gained international fame in 2017 when she won the Miss Asia World title. After a short break from the entertainment industry in 2020, she resumed her acting career in the series “Souq Al Haramia,” which started airing in January 2025.
