Jennifer Lopez continues living in the Beverly Hills, California mansion she used to share with Ben Affleck. The $68 million property has been listed for sale seven months following their separation.
The mansion known as Crestview Manor has been on the market since July 2024. Although potential buyers have shown interest, the property remains unsold. A recent agreement with New Jersey buyers fell apart due to a family bereavement.
The ex-couple acquired the property in May 2023 for $60.8 million. The 38,000-square-foot estate has 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms, along with a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, a caretaker residence, and a two-bedroom guardhouse. The property also includes parking for up to 80 vehicles, including a 12-car garage.
The Beverly Hills property features an array of indoor sports facilities, such as basketball and pickleball courts, a fully stocked gym, a boxing ring, and a sports lounge. The estate is located behind double gates and can only be accessed through private, gated roads.
While Lopez continues to live at the Beverly Hills mansion, Affleck has relocated to a $20.5 million home in Pacific Palisades, California.
Given the current real estate market, selling such a high-value property poses challenges. Real estate specialists estimate the couple could face up to $25 million loss on the sale, considering factors like the property’s location, its size, and current market conditions.
The property’s monthly expenses are significant, amounting to roughly $283,666. These costs encompass mortgage payments, taxes, security, maintenance, and utilities. The annual property tax alone is $476,000.
Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, marking April 26 as their official separation date. The filing coincided with the second anniversary of their formal wedding.
According to sources, Lopez has been actively house-hunting since April. Recent reports suggest that she is negotiating the purchase of the Azria Estate in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. Listed at $55 million, the 30,000-square-foot property has 14 bedrooms and 25 bathrooms. Interestingly, it was a shooting location for Lopez’s 2024 film “Atlas.”
