Georgia Influencer Found Murdered Near Burned Vehicle

Authorities in Louisiana have arrested a suspect in the death of a Georgia-based TikTok influencer, whose remains were discovered near a burned vehicle in Austell, Georgia.

The victim, identified as 22-year-old Beauty Couch, was an enthusiastic rollerblading dancer with a notable Instagram following of over 150,000. Her family described her as an individual full of life and potential.

The firefighters responded to a brush fire call on Joe Jerkins Boulevard and Landers Street. On arrival, they discovered a burning vehicle. They extinguished the fire and towed the vehicle to a wrecker yard.

Following the incident, law enforcement officials visited the car’s registered address. There, they learned that Beauty Couch, the primary user of the vehicle, had been missing since the previous morning.

Upon returning to the site of the fire, officers found a body matching Couch’s description on August 23rd. Further investigation indicated potential foul play.

The probe led to the arrest of 21-year-old Eugene Louis-Jocques in Slidell, Louisiana by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office. On August 25th, at approximately 4:40 pm, Louis-Jocques was taken into custody. He is awaiting extradition to Georgia.

The Cobb County Police Department has since secured a warrant against him on charges of murder, arson, and aggravated assault.

St. Tammany Parish Sheriff, Randy Smith, voiced his commitment to justice and law enforcement collaboration.

Beauty’s mother, Kimberly Couch, commented on the incident, saying, “She was a sweet girl. She never bothered anybody. They treated her in such a manner. They burned my daughter’s car.”

The case remains under active investigation.
