“The View’s” Alyssa Farah Griffin Says Former President Trump Will Burn GOP to The Ground If He’s Not The Party’s 2024 Nominee

The View” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin is pretty sure Former President Trump will throw a big temper tantrum if he does not win the 2024 GOP presidential nomination. She made it clear that she thinks he might burn the entire Republican party to the ground if he loses in the primaries.

During Monday’s broadcast, “The View” co-hosts kicked off their Hot Topic segment with a discussion about GOP candidates possibly being forced to sign a loyalty pledge stating that they would all put their support behind whichever candidate gets the party’s nomination.

RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told CNN on Sunday that the pledge was “a no-brainer,” indicating that there was a huge possibility that the party was looking to implement it.

According to McDaniel, if anyone was going to be on stage at the Republican National Committee debate asking people to vote for them, they should be ready to support the voters’ nominee choice.

However, “The View” co-host Griffin thinks that even if Trump were to sign such an agreement, it would have no impact on him if he did not win in the primaries.

Speaking to her fellow co-hosts, Griffin said that if Trump is not the nominee, he would probably get back at the Republican Party out of spite.

Griffin said that McDaniel no longer had enforcement capabilities in the party, adding that she would be unable to keep Trump, who polls show is leading in the Republican Party with 40%, from the debate stage.

The co-host explained that if Trump loses the primary, he would most likely run as an independent candidate or trash the chosen Republican candidate, to which co-host Whoopi Goldberg replied that he would trash the chosen candidate no matter what.

Goldberg said that even though Trump will throw tantrums, his actions should not impact what Republicans decide to do.

Trump will be facing Nikki Haley in the Republican party primaries. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is also expected to announce his presidential bid and is seen as Trump’s biggest threat.
