The most recent episode of the British royal soap opera reveals that King Charles III is evicting Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, from Frogmore Cottage, their residence in the United Kingdom since 2018, and plans to give it to his disgraced brother, Prince Andrew.

Frogmore Cottage was a wedding gift from the late Queen Elizabeth II to the couple in 2018. Since 2020, when they left the United Kingdom, the royal couple has resided in the United States.

According to a royal source, the King initiated the eviction process in January, the day after Prince Harry’s rumor-filled memoir “Spare” debuted in bookstores and on the Internet.

Prince Harry attacked the royal family in his book, claiming that his older brother, Prince William, knocked him to the ground during a heated argument and that the Queen Consort leaked stories about him and Meghan to British tabloid press.

According to a source, Harry and Meghan no longer have a place to stay in the United Kingdom following their eviction because the King has not offered them an alternative residence on the huge royal estate.

The couple has not responded to the eviction as of yet. They intend to ship the remainder of their belongings to their residence in the United States, which has served as their home since their retirement from royal duties in 2020.

Frogmore Cottage has been offered to Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles. Andrew’s new residence would be a significant step down from his current residence, Royal Lodge. It is rumored that King Charles wishes to evict his disgraced brother from the 30-bedroom, pool-equipped mansion on 98 acres of land.

Evidently, Andrew is opposed to the proposed move. The late queen stripped him of his royal duties and titles after learning of his involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandal.

Sources indicate that the King and his youngest son have not spoken since the January release of “Spare.”

This spring, Prince Harry and Meghan were reportedly invited via email to the coronation of the King in the United Kingdom. It remains to be seen if they will make the journey and, if so, where they will stay.
