Donald Trump’s New Book Raises Questions About His Pursuit of Princess Diana

Former President Donald Trump is releasing a new book that includes a collection of letters sent to him from famous people.

“Letters to Trump,” his second book since becoming president, will be released on April 25. It will be 320 pages long and will reportedly include 150 letters from politicians and celebrities such as Princess Diana, Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jackson, Queen Elizabeth II, and Richard Nixon.

According to a press release, Trump carefully selected each letter he received over a 40-year period and will include his own comments with each submission.

People are particularly interested in learning what Princess Diana wrote to the former President in her letters, which are said to be included in the book.

Several people believe that these letters could be humiliating, according to Newsweek, with royal analyst Richard Fitzwilliams stating that the Diana letters could contain embarrassing material. However, given that Princess Diana treated Trump with contempt, it is highly unlikely that the letter would contain anything compromising.

Princess Diana and Donald Trump first met in the 1990s because they belonged to the same social circles and attended charitable events together. He was also said to have made disparaging remarks about her. In 2022, the memoir “The King: The Biography of Charles III” claimed that Donald Trump pursued Diana relentlessly after her divorce from Prince Charles in 1996. This is not the only accusation.

According to People magazine, journalist Selena Scott reported in 2015 that Trump bombarded Diana at Kensington Palace with hundreds of dollars worth of bouquets. Diana was evidently Trump’s ideal trophy wife. As the roses and orchids filled her apartment, she became increasingly concerned about what she should do. She had begun to suspect that Trump was stalking her. Scott recalled Diana later seeking advice on how to handle the situation.

Since the announcement of the “Letters to Trump” book project, legal questions have been raised about whether the former president has the authority to reprint letters from private citizens.

Knowing the former president’s penchant for drama and attention, the book could be intriguing.
