Reports of several flying objects getting shot down in the past few days have led to beliefs that the government has found alien UFOs, including from a US Congressman.
Tennessee Representative Tim Burchett told Florida Representative Matt Gaetz recently that he believes the US government has previously recovered crafts from what could be alien UFOs.
Rep. Burchett said that many people in the know about such things had confided in him and told him that several crafts had crashed into the Earth and the government did not have the technology to deal with them.
He said he talked to several top pilots, including navy pilots, who are considered some of the best in the world, and they confirmed that they had seen such objects.
The comments from the Congressman come amidst ongoing speculation about the several unidentified flying objects over the US airspace that have recently been shot down.
President Joe Biden confirmed earlier this month that he had authorized the military to shoot down a balloon that had been flying in US airspace for several days suspected to be a Chinese spy balloon.
Since the takedown of the Chinese balloon, the government has shot down three more unidentified objects within a week of each other.
Addressing the recent shoot-downs, Rep. Burchett said that the objects were most likely from China or another country and are probably not extraterrestrial. He said the government needs to know about any unidentified objects that enter the US airspace to be prepared to defend the country against any threats.
The Defense Department released a statement saying that although the latest object did not appear to be a threat to anything on the ground, it was a safety hazard, and possible surveillance capabilities made it a threat.
During a press briefing, NORAD and US Northern Command Commander General Glen Van Herck said that he would let the intel and counter intelligence community work on figuring out if the objects were extraterrestrial. He also said they were assessing every threat and not ruling anything out.
