Prince Harry Hurls Accusations Against King Charles’ Wife Camilla

Prince Harry’s new book, “Spare” has been out for a few weeks and it is a best seller. In his shocking and gossipy memoir, Harry has a lot to say about his stepmother, Queen Consort Camilla.

Harry promoted the new book on television and gave two interviews recently, in which he spoke about topics in the book.  He accused King Charles’ wife, Camilla, of leaking stories and private conversations about the royal family to the British media, with the intent of improving her own soiled reputation.

Camilla is known worldwide as the “other woman,” whom Prince Diana considered to be the “third person” in her marriage to Charles, then Prince of Wales. Prince Harry made the allegations while promoting his memoir.

The two television interviews were aired on January 8 and 9. Prince Harry accused some royal family members of colluding with the British tabloid media to gain favorable coverage for themselves, at the expense of others in the family, such as himself and his wife Meghan. He specifically named his stepmother Camilla, saying she was trying to repair her image with the British people after her well-known affair 50 years ago with Charles, which was one of the issues that made his mother Diana miserable in her marriage.

During an interview on CBS’s 60 Minutes, Prince Harry called Camilla “dangerous” due to her cooperation with the British press. He said that she and the tabloids were willing to trade information harmful to others.

The ITV and 60 Minutes interviews were aired on Sunday, January 8, and Prince Harry did another interview with Good Morning America on Monday, January 9. His book was released the next day, on Tuesday, January 10 and was said to be the quickest non-fiction book sold by Penguin Random House in the UK, ever

The prince has been blaming the British media for incidents in the UK that caused him and his wife Meghan to leave and move to California. He also said that the media had a lot to do with the disputes between him and his brother, Prince William, and his father, King Charles III.

Harry said that before Camilla’s wedding to his father, he had complex feelings about the marriage and tried to talk his father out of it. His father had no doubts about marrying his lover of many years, and Harry and William had to learn to accept it.
