Tanya Pardazi, 21, was a well-known “influencer” on TikTok. She had over 100,000 followers.
On August 27, she met a tragic end when she died during a skydiving accident in Toronto, Canada, according to CTV News Toronto.
Tanya had taken a skydiving course at Skydive Toronto. The course taught all the fundamentals required to do a 4,000 foot jump.
On her first jump alone, unfortunately, Tanya opened her parachute too late, and fell to her death.
Skydive Toronto released a statement on Facebook saying that Tanya “released a quickly rotating main parachute at a low altitude without the time/altitude required for the reserve parachute to inflate.”
Tanya’s friends and family remembered her as a brave and adventurous person.
Her death follows the death of a 45-year-old Ottawa fireman in another skydiving accident that occurred in July.
In June, a 28-year-old man lost his life in an accident at a skydiving club in Toronto.
